We are very excited to have you join our community, and we look forward to getting to know your whole family. As a new family, you will be receiving a large packet of information from us via regular mail in the next few weeks; however, on this page you’ll find additional information which will be helpful over the coming months. We want your transition to be a smooth one, so please never hesitate to contact us with questions. Below is a list of people who can help with your questions:

In addition, you will be contacted periodically by current parents, and over the summer your child’s grade-specific Room Parents will reach out to you. There will be opportunities prior to the first day of school to connect with the students and parents in your child’s grade. We want you to feel comfortable and connected to St. John’s even before you walk through our doors as a new family.

Tuesday, September 5 – FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Parent Coffee, 8:15 a.m.
September 11 – 15 – Community Building Week (more information when school begins)
Friday, September 15 – Fall Family Picnic, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, September 20 – Out-of-Uniform Day (first one of the year)
Thursday, September 21 – Back-to-School Night, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (mandatory–at least 1 parent must attend)

5th – 8th Grade Math Placement Tests – Monday, June 19 or Monday, June 26 at 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. (arrival no later than 9:45 a.m.). Please contact Sarah Travis, Upper School Math teacher, to reserve your child’s spot at one of these test dates.
